USDA LOANS

No down payment, and more areas qualify than you might think.

USDA loans are backed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to help families buy homes outside major cities. "Rural" covers more than farmland. Many small towns and suburban communities in Utah and Idaho qualify.

Common questions

How do I know if a home is in an eligible area?

USDA has an online eligibility map. Send me the address, and I'll check it for you.

What are the USDA fees?

There's an upfront guarantee fee that can be added to the loan, and a small annual fee paid monthly. I'll show you the full cost compared with your other options.

Do I have to be a first-time buyer?

No. You just can't own another home that meets your needs when you buy.

Send me an address and I'll tell you if it qualifies.
