FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYERS
Your first home may be closer than you think.
Being a first-time homebuyer can feel overwhelming, especially with today's prices. Many of my clients were sure they couldn't buy yet. With the right loan, the right plan and the right offer strategy, many of them are now homeowners.

What counts as a first-time homebuyer?
Common questions
For many programs, it's someone who hasn't owned a home in the last three years. So you may qualify even if you've owned before.
How much do I need to save?
It depends on the loan and the price. Plan for a down payment, unless you use a no or low down payment option, plus closing costs of about 1 to 2% of the price. Down payment assistance and seller help can cover much of that.
Should I get pre-approved before looking at homes?
Yes. A pre-approval shows you your real budget and makes your offer stronger to sellers.
